In 1755 Acadians were deported from Nova Scotia and scattered throughout the world. Some ended up in the American Colonies, some in English prisons, and other as far as the Falkland Islands. Despite the years and miles that separate their descendants, every five years Acadians from around the globe to remember their history and heritage.
